RedPenny wasn't hatched overnight. We've evolved our brand of simpler, smarter casting through more than 20 years in the business. But if there was one tipping point in that evolution, it was a worldwide project we worked on for Microsoft.
This project called for casting talent in nine different countries. The creative brief described talent in numerous categories, different ethnicities, and the complete spectrum of ages.
The casting call was sent out, what we got back included every imaginable format. After receiving image files with no quality standards and no structure to make sense of it all, the focus quickly shifted from making great creative choices to just trying to keep the process from spiraling into chaos.
What we bring to casting boils down to three things:
First, knowing where to find the best talent. We understand what our clients want and we know where to find that talent.
Second, superior production quality. Talent has to be properly lit and photographed by professional photographers, or how can you possibly assess what you're looking at? We also put all of our castings on video, regardless of whether it's a print or TV project. Doing this allows our clients to see the real personality of the talent.
Finally, last but certainly not least, organization. Our interactive online proprietary system lets you arrange and share casting choices in a clear, intuitive presentation. And it can be updated as a project evolves to make the whole process run smoothly and efficiently.

At the casting, talent enter their current information on iPads that sync with our software so we can share that data immediately with production.
Our web posting includes tools to categorize the talent, enter notes, and mark selected favorites. Each talent has all pertinent sizes listed.

Another successful project with Beazley Insurance.
What started out as a simple talent spec ended up being more complicated than we thought, with additional roles needed as the concepts evolved.
We cast this project in both Los Angeles and Las Vegas, uploaded stills and video for over 500 talent.
This project was a chalenge, but our team pulled it off.
